This is yet another mind f@ck of a book from TL Smith, I thoroughly enjoyed cringing on each page swipe. I tend to stay away from the love triangle tropes, but I cannot resist the pull of a new TL Smith book, so I jumped in without even reading the blurb. Having read plenty of Ms. Smith's previous books, I knew I was going to get some angst, but by the end I was a mess of emotions and can't wait to get the next book to see how this story will eventually play out. I'm purposely being vague with my review because to say too much is to give away inadvertent spoilers. Just know that I do highly recommend this book, and book 2 is coming out shortly if you're like me and don't like the long wait in between books.
