RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW - Wish by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

From New York Times bestseller

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff comes a

sexy standalone novel.

If I could wish for one thing, it would be to have never met my ex. He took my money, cheated on me, and saddled me with an impossible mortgage.

Now, just as I’m fighting to put my life back together, I find an unusual bottle with a note inside: “You get one wish. Make it count.” Har har. Someone’s idea of a joke?

But nothing could prepare me for what comes next or for the screamin’ hot man with piercing blue eyes who shows up at my door, making demands.

I should slam the door in his sex-god face, because this guy has trouble written all over him. But I can’t.

Suddenly I do have a wish…

This was such a cute book from start to finish, I found it hard to put down while I was reading it. I enjoyed both Ginnie and Marus' characters; Ginnie is determined to overcome the recent events in her past that have left her jaded and not really able to trust most people, so her reactions to the everything that happens after she finds the bottle are definitely understandable. I too was curious about the whole bottle thing, until it was all explained then it made sense.

There's no doubt about the chemistry between Marus and Ginnie, despite all of his warnings regarding her wish, so I was probably as excited as she was when Marus decided to change the rules about the wish. I loved how Ginnie was all about making it in the world on her own, with no handouts and minimal help. And the fact that she became as invested with Marus' good deeds with no reservations was pretty great.

I was unsure about Marus as more about his background came to light; but once the incident at the skating rink happened, I was pretty shocked by the attitude change (although not as shocked as Ginnie), but the last couple of chapters  put everything to rights again with Ginnie and her man.
