I loved this from start to finish! I was a bit thrown off by the time period the story takes place in, but I think that enhances the story, we get to see the mafia world from a time that's not tethered by the internet and cell phones. It kind of felt like Goodfellas or Casino.
The character development is fantastic, I was unsure how to feel about Luca at the start of the story, like how and could he be redeemable? But I've read enough Georgia Cates to know that she'll make it so that we embrace the hero by the end of the story, and that's exactly what happened with Luca.
