“From the beginning of Bentley’s story to the last word in Sandy’s the journey of the Bam boys has been filled with so many emotions and showed us what family is even if it’s not the family your born into but the family you make!” ~Goodreads Review (Sandy)
Behind every successful man there is a woman.
What happens when you’re the woman behind an entire team?
Sandy Preston has been den mother, friend, confidante, and the guiding force behind the men of BAM for years.
Now they have new lives, and hers has drastically changed.
Can she move on and find love a second time around?
Will the men she considers family accept the changes?
It's always bittersweet when you get to the end of a series, especially one that's been as engaging and entertaining as this one, but I thought this was the perfect story for the finale. We've been through the ups and downs with the men of Vested Interest, and we've seen just how much of a mother figure Sandy is when it comes to not only her guys, but also to the women who managed to capture each of the hearts of the BAM men. Our hearts broke for Sandy when she lost her husband a few books prior, and I couldn't wait to see how her story would play out. I thought this was lovely, seeing Sandy as she's healing from the loss of her husband, and learning to navigate her way with her new reality. I love how the writing is so spot on that
While seriously addicted to coffee, and highly challenged with all things computer-related and technical, she relishes baking, cooking, and trying new recipes for people to sample. She loves to throw dinner parties, and also enjoys traveling, here and abroad, but finds coming home is always the best part of any trip.
Melanie loves stories, especially paired with a good wine, and enjoys skydiving (free falling over a fleck of dust) extreme snowboarding (falling down stairs) and piloting her own helicopter (tripping over her own feet.) She's learned happily ever afters, even bumpy ones, are all in how you tell the story.
