I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I started reading this, because I went in blind but when I tell you this had me hooked by the end of the first chapter, I could not put this down! We get an inkling that Finley might be different in the first chapter when she's describing one of her neighbors, but it really comes to the forefront in chapter 5 when she is beyond rattled during an encounter she has with a potential savior for her professional business venture. And unfortunately for Finley, it seems the one person who might be able to answer her myriad of questions is the same person who seemed to hate her on sight the first time they met at her sister's art exhibition. I can't wait to learn more about Mr. Carrick Byrne, Finley's own enigma, especially after that cliffhanger!
