Just an Illusion – Side A is the first book in The Illusion Series
This is my first D. Kelly book, but it sure won't be my last! I was hooked right from the prologue, especially because the way it's written, you don't know who Amelia ends up with. The book itself takes the reader back to the beginning of how it was she came to end up touring with the band, and the evolving friendships between Amelia and both Sawyer and Noah. This really isn't a love triangle per se, because Amelia knows who's in her heart, but one brother just won't admit his true feelings for her. And since this isn't the first time this has happened between Sawyer and Noah, it was interesting to see how this would play out this time for them. On top of that, D. Kelly managed to throw a couple more twists to the story to really keep you on edge. And then there's the ending. It had me going back to re-read it just to make sure I read it correctly. And I did, and now I'm stuck waiting till the next part is released. Even though we have to wait till early next year (sighhhhhhhhh), this is still a series I highly recommend!
