It's books like this one that make me wish that authors were automatons with the ability to crank out books like candy, because I'm already impatient for the next book to be out. MJP has a way of writing stories and creating worlds that's easy to get pulled into right from the start, and you definitely get that with this book. Without rehashing the synopsis, Stephanie has come up with a plan to find out what happened to her sister. What she didn't count on was her reaction to the owner of the island, one James Rook. But she's not the only one affected, he too seems to be affected when he's in her presence. But is that something that has to do with the mysterious island? Only time, and the rest of the series, will give Stephanie (and us readers) the answers.
