I have to say, this is my favorite Valentine Boys book to date! Who doesn't love a good bad boy story? Especially when that bad boy has turned himself around; I did feel bad for Darby as no one seemed to accept the fact that he's got his life on the right track, even his brothers were seemingly waiting for him to revert to his bad boy behavior. I didn't blame him when he felt the only option was to roll out from the family home.
I remember meeting Waylynn in an earlier book, so I wasn't quite sure how things were going to play out for these two, but no reason to wonder because they fit together perfectly. Despite Waylynn's upbringing (in which her father needs a good and hard punch to the throat), she's a beautiful soul.
